Nature & Yoga Women's Retreat

March 25 - 27, 2022
Puʻu O Hoku ranch, Molokai, HI

Join us for this retreat on the beautiful island of Molokai, Hawaiʻi. There will be time for you to unwind, relax, and connect with nature through daily yoga and meditation practices and journaling and experiential nature connecting exercises. A cultural/guided hike to Halawa Valley may also be arranged for Friday morning before the retreat begins (additional cost).

Cost:
Cost is $500 per person. Additional $200 cost for private room if available. Price includes 2 nights lodging, buffet meals (dinner Friday evening, breakfast, lunch, and dinner Saturday, and breakfast and lunch Sunday), daily yoga and meditation, and expe
rential nature practices.

Cost does not include airfare or transportation to and from the retreat facility.  We will assist with the coo
rdination of carpooling for anyone interested in sharing carpooling costs. 
To reserve your spot, we require a $250 nonrefundable deposit. *
Final payment is due Jan
uary 15, 2022. We recommend you consider purchasing travel insurance in the event of unforeseen circumstances. 

*if the retreat must be canceled by hosts due to Covid related mandates, particpants will be fully refunded.

Lizabeth Kashinsky, Ecopsychologist, RYT-500

Lizabeth grew up on the windward side of Oʻahu and began practicing yoga in 2000 when she was drawn to it as a means to still her active mind and help her recover from an injury she sustained. She completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training at Open Space Yoga in Honolulu in 2009 and has been teaching yoga ever since. She loves sharing ways for individuals to connect with the natural world and often incorporates nature-based practices in her yoga classes. Her classes also focus on cultivating mindfulness and deep relaxation. She holds an MA in Ecopsychology from Naropa University
and has worked in the field of conservation in Hawaii since 1994.

Makana Kaha`ulelio


Makana is from the ahupua’a (land division) of Kane`ohe, on the island of O`ahu and has over 20 years’ experience as an educator with a strong background in teaching, a commitment to strengthening sustainable practices in her community, and a keen sense of the importance of place and culture in Hawai`i.  
Makana has been trained in the Hawaiian ways of hula, lua (martial arts), la’au lapa’au (medicinal plants), ho’oponopono and malama `aina (land stewardship) and brings forth the knowledge of her kupuna (ancestors) in her current work providing customized events and programs to facilitate healing, develop leadership, and build environmental literacy.


At this retreat Makana will weave Native Hawaiian cultural values and perspectives into your experiences to support your connection  to this special place.
